the brown boys (the brown-town boys, the brown-bottom boys, etc.)
long known as trouble-makers, the brown boys have been local to the yumbar river area for decades. the cental brown family has eleven children, while there are thirty-three cousins and another five dozen cousins removed.
regarded for their slow intellect and strong-headedness, the brown boys seem to survive only by sheer numbers. any stories of encounters with one or more usually involve some kind of cruelty, wrestling, murder, public humiliation, drunkness, or combination thereof.
recognizable by a slightly protruding forehead; think, full, unibrow; beady eyes; and a mild hunchback: the brown boys are each one burlier than the next.
